Meet Elena Marchi, Your Hong Kong Dog Photographer

Elena Marchi is an Italian-born, London-based photographer specialising in Fine Art black- and-white dog portraiture. She is featured, presenting her acclaimed series of fine art canine portraits set against London's architectural landmarks. Widely recognised for pioneering this distinctive photographic approach, Marchi's striking black-and-white images explore the enduring relationship between dogs and the urban environment, creating timeless portraits that are both elegant and emotionally resonant.

She brings a unique approach to dog photography by combining her passion for architecture, dog photography, interior design, and bespoke wall art. Her expertise in dog behaviour and training in canine first aid ensure that each dog’s welfare is the top priority, allowing any dog, regardless of training level, to be captured as the work of art they are.

Greyhounds & Galgos: Echoes of London
Greyhounds & Galgos: Echoes of London - Photography Book - PAWTIQE
Greyhounds & Galgos. Echoes of London follows these dogs through past, present and future. For centuries, art is how we know them. carved, painted and written as companions to rulers, hunters and saints. Today, they are reduced to racing, hunting and suffering, leaving little room to see them as individuals.

This 30cm x 30cm hardback fine art photography book featuring 26 greyhounds and galgos, offers a slower way of looking. Each survivor is photographed alone against London's architecture, from neoclassical to industrial to contemporary, mirroring the dogs' own journey. Not workers, not victims, simply themselves, and open to a different future.

50% of proceeds support Project Galgo, a UK-based charity dedicated to rescuing and rehoming these dogs.
